In the eyes of the beholder
London, UK
Being a photographer, my eyesight is a given and something I take for granted. Without it, I would unlikely be a photographer. But how I see things isn't just down to my eyesight. My 'eye' is how I see things and how I frame things.
Developing my eye is also developing my personal style. This is influenced by many things – what I am interested in taking photos of; my perception of the world around me; how and when I take photos; my own personal narrative and the narrative I see around me. Another aspect of this eye is the here and now.
